Job Description

LOT ATTENDANT
The Lot Attendant is responsible for maintaining inventory in an orderly, efficient manner. Ensures that all vehicles are maintained clean, presentable and correctly displayed in order to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Realigns new vehicle display areas twice weekly
Replaces sold vehicles as directed
Washes new vehicle display twice weekly weather permitting
Places vehicles in proper inventory position whether sold or un-sold
Places inventory keys on inventory board
Keeps equipment in good working order
Walks sold and un-sold inventory with Assistant New Vehicle Manager twice per week
Installs sales price mirror signs when required
Strips all new vehicles of plastics and stickers for front lot display
Trades inventory units from one storage yard to another
Delivers/retrieves documents to/from outside sources when required; i.e., bank, lawyer, Manufacturers, etc.
Assists in physically delivering vehicles to final destination when required
Reports all lot damage or malfunctioning of vehicles on display to supervisor
Delivers damaged/malfunctioning vehicles to the Service Department
Ensures vehicles within demo line are maintained in a presentable fashion; i.e., gas, cleanliness etc.
Ensures walkways and entrances to showroom are free of debris, ice and snow at all times
Performs other related duties

Job Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience working in dealership preferred.
Valid in-state Drivers License and clean driving record.
Professional Appearance; excellent communication skills.
