Ecological Scientist - East Windsor, NJ - Full-time

Responsibilities

We are seeking an environmental scientist, soil scientist, wildlife biologist or ecologist who can be part of our Ecological/Regulatory team to provide consulting on a wide variety of projects throughout the State of New Jersey. The successful candidate will be responsible for field work, preparation of State and Federal applications, on-site environmental inspections, and permit compliance inspections. Report writing, good communication skills, participation in meetings, and interaction with project staff, clients, and contractors will also play an important role in the candidates success.

This is a part-time position on an as needed basis.

Qualifications

* Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science, Soil Science, or related discipline and 2-10 years of experience.
* Knowledge of State of New Jersey and US Army Corps of Engineers regulatory programs in New Jersey a must.
* Field experience identifying regulated wetlands and waterways.
* Working outside of normal business hours may be required.
