Application Support at Pennington

Job Description

This is not an application development position but application support with focus on infrastructure and deployment.

This person has a minimum of 7 yrs experience and has in depth knowledge of software engineering utilizing Web based or Object Oriented Technologies including .NET utilizing IIS 6.0 and IIS 7.5.

This group supports application integration and works closely with development teams to determine framework and development needs.

Support is performed in a pre-production environment for application support.

Candidates will need to have experience supporting applications from front end, back end and Midtier. They are support 3 tier applications.

Understanding the concepts Java & .NET Object Oriented programming is crucial. This will allow the resource to know exactly what to troubleshoot and how the applications they support actually work.

Java and .Net application troubleshooting experience is needed.

1. Jboss Web Administration on Windows

2. Tomcat Web Server Administration on Windows

3. Websphere Web Server Administration on Windows

4. Windows 2003 & 2008

5. Experience in DMZInternet facing web applications)

6. Core Networking (DNS, NetScalers / Load Balancing )

7. Basic SQL / MSSQL 2008 / 2012 Administration

8. JasperReport Server Administration

9. Powershell scripting
