Job Classification: Contract One of our clients is looking for a Release Manager.This Release manager will assist managing projects and inter-dependencies to ensure milestone adherence and integrity of the release. The candidate will be:-Responsible for managing risks and assisting in resolving issues that affect release scope, quality, schedule, and resources. -Running Change Control Board meetings to formally set and manage release scope and/or release date changes, roadblocks. -Measuring and monitoring progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time and within budget, and that they meet or exceed expectations. -Coordinating release content and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applications, or operating system updates. -Communicating all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes. -Managing relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations -Responsible for planning, organizing and executing deployment activities. -Part of weekly Release Reporting. -Conducting Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business GNG reviews. -Producing Implementation Plans and IP walkthroughs.
