Our 9-week summer internship program offers you the opportunity to become a leader in Finance at Verizon: be involved in meaningful work/projects; be exposed to daily business operations; attend learning programs and training sessions; and participate in networking activities with other interns, professionals, and business leaders. You'll learn from the best minds in the industry and have a unique opportunity to use your Accounting and Finance knowledge and skills in an environment dedicated to maintaining industry superiority. You will be introduced to useful tools and resources that will help you grow both professionally and personally throughout the program. The intern program is targeted at select students who have completed their sophomore year of college and are interested in a CPA career track. Sophomore interns that perform with excellence will be invited back for a second summer rotation in 2015.

Qualifications

• College sophomores are preferred for this program. Juniors will be considered if they are part of a 5-year program that leads to a graduate degree
• Accounting and Finance are the preferred college majors
• Minimum GPA of 3.2 is preferred
• Internships will occur in Basking Ridge, NJ; Lake Mary, FL and potentially additional locations
• Applicants must have strong analytic, communication, leadership and presentation skills
• Demonstrated skills for business success, including project management, problem-solving, and the ability to diagnose and meet business demands
• Strong MS Office skills (especially Excel)
