The Opportunity:

Our client is in the process of doubling its revenue stream and global footprint and is looking to broaden the bench strength of its Finance organization.

Reporting to the VP Finance, the Director of Finanace will hold a critical position and will be on a fast track to Senior Director level. The role holder will play a major role in ensuring the financial objectives of the business are met along with directing the future strategic direction of the company.

With a strong emphasis on business partnerships, the role holder will also provide top level support to the various business units.

Responsibilities will include:

* Developing annual operating, long range plans and quarterly forecasts

* Providing financial and business decision leadership support for the on-going business and the development of new opportunities.

* Working with CFO, CEO and Executive Committee to provide a deep level of understanding of monthly resultsDevelop action plans to provide course corrections which will allow for achievement of financial objectives.

* Contribute to delivering strong operating performance by collaborating closely with key operators of the business to drive cost efficiency, holding leaders accountable to results, standardization of best practices and elimination of waste.

* Provide leadership, direction, and development to team members within the Finance organization.

* Partner with senior management and internal business partners in all departments including Finance, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Research & Development, Legal, Human Resources, etc.

Requirements:

Applicants to the position of Director of Finance will offer:

* Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required

* MBA and CPA highly preferable

* 12-15 years related financial experience required, including budgeting, forecasting, planning, analysis, and building financial models for Consumer Packaged Goods or Product orientated companies critical

* Experience working in a $1bill + revenue stream environment

* Highly analytical approach, constantly seeks to understand the driver for results

* Self-managed, motivated, entrepreneurial style; brings matter to resolution

* Excellent written and verbal communications skills; comfortable communicating with executive management

* Knowledge of accounting and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

* Must be adaptable, able to multi-task and take on additional responsibilities as necessary

*Energetic, positive leader who easily engages with, motivates and develops their team members
