Currently, Vantage has an entry level position open within its Customer Service office in Avenel, NJ. The position is responsible for answering incoming calls and responding to customer inquiries as needed, entering orders, following through on the order fulfillment process, and resolving customer inquiries on a daily basis.
The individual will complete order processing, including but not limited to, order taking, order entry, verification of purchase order and/or order acknowledgements. In addition, this role will receive and respond to inbound customer service and order status calls.
Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Provides information regarding Vantage products and services as well as comparative information on competitors products and services.
2. Receives and responds to inbound customer service and order status calls.
3. Processes Orders. Verifies all customer purchase order information and enters data as necessary.
4. Expedites Orders.
5. Resolves customer concerns. Investigates claims involving errors or defects to determine validity. Coordinates problem resolutions with appropriate departments. Takes appropriate action to resolve customers issues, which include investigating how the problem occurred, correcting current problems, and taking action to prevent recurrence in the future. Resolution of the problem may require escalation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
6. Answers hotline calls within established guidelines/standards.
Job Requirements
Associates Degree and/or equivalent work experience required.Bachelors Degree a plus.
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and email.
