As a member of the Content team, you will be responsible for writing and editing consumer and referral partner oriented marketing and content pieces for the mortgage industry. SPECIFIC DUTIES: Work with subject matter experts as needed for appropriate angle as well as research needed Writes landing page copy for website(s) Research and write multiple consumer and referral partner oriented articles/pieces monthly Edits and proofs content provided by internal and external content developers and subject matter experts for style, technical accuracy and completeness Reviews external or contracted content sources for appropriateness - works with external vendors and content producers Maintains social media presence through Twitter, Facebook, and other online avenuesREQUIREMENTS: Minimum requirements include a Bachelors degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field. Must be experienced writer with 5+ years of business/content/technical writing experience. Must have the ability to tailor messages to different audiences. Financial and mortgage industry knowledge and writing background preferred, but not required. Must be well versed in the art of writing marketing materials as well as general content style. Experience in social media communications also required. Applicant should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of Dreamweaver a plus. High level of organization and time management skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to set and meet deadlines are required.
