IT Field Service Technician
We have a client that is looking for an IT Field Service Technician to provide support to clients primarily in northern NJ. This position will require at least 50% travel and be responsible for hardware configuration and installation, testing, and troubleshooting. You will utilize a Help Desk ticketing system to manage your work load. You will also be responsible for creating custom quotes to include all hardware and labor costs; follow up on all aspects of projects; documentation; and maintain excellent communications with all involved parties.
Candidate must be able to manage multiple simultaneous projects to successful completion. Candidate is expected to develop and maintain a positive working relationship with customers, peers, and the management team. Self-motivation, dependability and independence are a must. Candidate will also serve in a Help Desk capacity as well. Candidate may be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties
Participate in meetings with Care Center VPs and Office Managers.
Perform technical site assessments.
Create equipment quotes and provide input into project plans.
Follow up on equipment purchase requests and organize hardware for the multiple projects. Label and asset tag all equipment.
Document details of all work performed
Timely escalation of issues to management.
Attend developmental training sessions.
Maintain HIPAA Compliance as measured by management review of all processes and procedures.
Deliver exceptional customer service and achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
