The Senior Production Support Analyst will be responsible for providing level 1 support for the Meetings and Conferences business applications. The candidate will conduct root cause analysis on production incidents and will be working closely with business analysts, developers, DBA’s, IT support staff and the conference business team environment to bring remediation and closure to production issues. Responsibilities:- Demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis- Diagnose and track problems that affect system performance or availability- Evaluate each situation and effectively recommend solutions in an accurate and timely basis using both good technical and business judgment- Maintain composure in high-stress / high-visibility situations and change priorities as needed to accommodate a very dynamic business support model- Engage in clear and concise communications both verbally and in writing- Effectively interact in a cooperative and pleasant manner with colleaguesSuccessful candidate will have the following qualifications:- Have a positive attitude and an internal drive to be successful- Should have excellent interpersonal skills and should have the ability to remain calm under stressful situations while performing multiple detailed tasks- 5 years’ experience in a Production Support Environment- Experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g/10 Administrations- Basic experience in Linux- Good understanding of Oracle DB and Basic experience in administration of oracle database- Experience in Oracle Weblogic administration- IT related Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experienceAdditional Skills/Experience:- Competent in SOA Admin related tasks a plus - Exposure to BPM Admin tasks a plus- Experience in Monitoring and debugging SOA applications a plus- Well versed in BPEL Admin tasks a plus- Hands-on installation and configuration experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g/10g servers a plus
