Java developer

Princeton Information is seeking a  Java Developer - Server Side Development/Back-end Development for the following -

  Key Requirements
• Proficient in Core Java (5.0 & 6 strongly preferred) including multi-threading, concurrency.
• Strong in Object Oriented design, design patterns and software architecture, object-oriented programming.
• Hands on experience in open source server side technologies like Hibernate, Axis, log4j, Apache Commons.
• Proficient in developing applications in a J2EE framework: Servlets, JDBC, JSP, JDBC, JMS.
• Hands on experience in XML & Schema related open source Java frameworks such as JAXB, XStream.
• Hands on experience in unit testing frameworks like JUnit.
• Hands on experience in developing build scripts using Ant.
• Hands on experience in developing application which uses messaging framework.
• Must have experience in performance tuning of application using profilers like Java Profiler, JProfiler or equivalent.
• Good understanding of various web protocols such as SOAP & REST.
• Good understanding of database concepts and experience and Oracle 10g/11g.
Environment
• Experience with SQL Developer and SQL *Plus.
• Must be proficient in using Eclipse; including Eclipse debugger.
• Worked with version control tools like SVN or equivalent.
Miscellaneous
• General understanding of financial industry terms, products and operations.
• Experience and working knowledge in ETL and Data warehousing concepts.
• General knowledge of various Web development technologies (GWT, SmartGWT, EXT-JS) is a plus.
