Network Engineer

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be required to liaise with different areas of AT&T, including Planning, Labs, Field Services, Transport and CFO organizations and be responsible for the management of the maintenance ticket flow and maintenance activities on the network. The candidate must also be able to work on and resolve complex network issues independently or with the support of the ATS and CFO organizations. The successful candidate would need to be able to assimilate the technical information and communicate complex issues concisely to all levels of the business. Candidates will be responsible for managing network outages on command and control bridges (MFAB, TCB, MCB). Work with other organizations, prioritize work and handle escalations, attending Customer bridges as required. Interact with vendors in the supply management chain during the RMA processes.

The job requires technical skills and an in-depth knowledge in the areas of network maintenance, router hardware and configuration for both Juniper (MX960 and MX480) and Cisco (2800 and 2900) platforms.
