Primary Duties:

Senior Financial Analyst:Provide indepth analytical support and analysis for the GBS (Global Business Services) team. Responsibilities include:

Development, implementation, interpretation and maintenance of reporting surrounding the Global Procurement function

Provide an advanced level of insight related to key business drivers or operational variables during the analysis process

Assist in validation of key assumptions, model outcomes, and recommendations

Identify and drive improvement opportunities in this area

Development and maintenance of procurement savings and cost avoidance initiatives (Includes thorough research, data mining, and development of control procedures around the collection of data)

Development and maintenance of financial models related to GBS business cases, and conduct analysis and discussion of results with upper management

Development of monthly/quarterly tracking for business cases and projects

Documentation of processes & procedures as required

Ad hoc reporting

This is a highly visible position due to the analysis and reporting functions, requiring a solid understanding of the business and cost drivers, along with strong communication and presentation skills.Candidate must be comfortable functioning in a quickly changing environment, with often ambiguous starting points.Candidate must be willing to performed in-depth research and detailed analysis, with data management required at times.  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA preferred
• 2+ years in a public accounting setting
• 6+ years of related experience in accounting, budgeting and/or finance
  Strong skill set in financial tracking, planning and analysis
• Advanced level Microsoft Office Excel, Access and PowerPoint experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with the highest standards of excellence
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
