- Bergens Promise is a government funded, not-for-profit agency, dedicated to organizing and coordinating services, resources and supports for children and adolescents in Bergen County, New Jersey, with moderate to serious emotional and behavioral challenges.

Job Description:
As Outreach Resource Director you will manage all activities related to promoting community knowledge about Bergens Promise services and securing community support and participation.
Major Duties:
- Develop, recruit and create resources to meet the needs of children and families.
- Develop and maintain a current and accurate community provider directory.
- Ensure that feedback from internal Agency staff, as well as, the Family Support Organization is utilized in the development and maintenance of the directory.
- Ensure that new provider information is submitted to the Contract Service Administrator utilizing the New Provider Set-Up Form.
- Work with Quality Assurance Director to conduct analysis of relevant data for report purposes and for maintenance of the Agencys resource directory.
- Utilize data gathered from Agency staff, feedback and analysis to suggest service areas in need of further development. Develop resources in these under-utilized areas.
- Educate staff and community about resources.
- Assist Care Managers in linking families with needed community services.
- Educate and inform the community about Bergens Promise, including the latest developments and accomplishments.
- Develop tools and procedures to assist with care management functions.
- Plan and facilitate Agency and community workshops and events.
- Facilitate and expand the Support that Empowers and Provides Sustainability (STEPS) committee.
- Develop and produce Agency print and electronic media, including but not limited to newsletters and the Agencys website.
- Provide detailed reports to the Executive Director as required.

Requirements
- MA Degree required.
- 2+ years of Community Resource/Outreach experience, preferably in a not-for-profit setting.
- Detail-oriented.
- Flexible work style.
- High Energy, outgoing and passionate.
- Superior people skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Superior writing and grammar skills a must.
- Computer Savvy.
- Valid drivers license.
- Bi-lingual a PLUS.
