Production Print Solutions Engineer at Ramsey

Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. is currently seeking a Production Print Solutions Engineer.The Production Print Solutions Engineer is responsible for assisting the Dealer Channels high volume sales teams in driving high volume account activity to meet or exceed sales objectives set by management, and providing specific sales expertise and support as required.RESPONSIBILITIES

Understands, develops and delivers high end systems/application solutions to end users business, information and technical needs.

Write scripts to drive High Volume printers, e.g. input/output tray selections, print positioning, etc.

Possesses a good understanding of third party solutions as well as KM products.

Provide technical support in sales presentations, product demonstration and delivery of professional services consulting/integration services.

Analyze customer needs and translate them into deliverable solutions.

Demonstrate and enhance proposed solutions.

Assist in proposal preparation with Dealers Production Print Specialists.

Develop a scope of work (as part of the proposal process) and implementation guide for each opportunity.

Deliver customer support and training as part of the PPS Sales efforts.  Requirements

Minimum 5 yrs related experience desirable, knowledge of Dealer Channel

Experience with high volume Xerox or Kodak equipment applicable and very helpful.

Travel required as needed throughout PA, MD, DE, VA and WV.

Pre-sales analysis and Post-sales support is a major component of the position.

Front end controller and workflow (knowledge) of EFI, CREO, MicroPress, & Digital Store Front.

Experience with VDP knowledge with printshop mail, planet press, and RSA is desirable.

Strong Color Management skills required

Knowledge of engine linearization helpful

Unix experience would be a strong plus.

Some college highly desired or must have equivalent knowledge and experience.

Must be a self-starter, someone who is self motivated, capable of working independently to start and complete projects.

Ability to learn, analyze, understand and help a client through complex situations.
