Job Description:

My client is a nationally recogized leader in the Consumer Services Industry. Currently they are looking for a Buyer to join their team in New Jersey.

Responsibilities:

• The buyer will have the authority for the sourcing of appropriate merchandise in the region.
• Will have the ability to create / grow / maintain relationships with vendors.
• Will have to continually seek out new opportunities for the company.
• Will work within appropriate fiscal goals.
• The Senior Buyer will have the chance to help develop and mentor other purchasing staff

Requirements:

• Must have a completed 4 year degree.
• Must be an accomplished negotiator.
• Must have a demonstrated ability to build vendor relationships.
• 5 years of experience in retail merchandising.
