Director Accounting Shared Services at Lyndhurst

Duties:

• Organizational agility; this individual will be knowledgeable about how organizations work; and knows how to get things done through the formal channels and the informal network

• Solid experience in delivering effective executive presentations

• Proven leadership ability, as well as strength in building and maintaining strong internal partnerships. Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of employees to resolve issues effectively and in a timely manner.


• Solid project management skills, from initial idea through execution.

• Demonstrated professional maturity with unquestioned personal and business integrity.


• Strong communication and presentation skills, confident with graphical and statistical materials, written analysis and verbal presentations


• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)


• Experience with shared service environments

• 10-15 years of experience in financial/accounting management


• Public/private accounting mix with Big 4 audit firm experience preferred


• Systems experience with SAP, Hyperion Essbase a plus


• An undergraduate business degree in accounting or finance required


• MBA and/or CPA highly desirable
