Prevention Specialist, Strengthening Families - Full Time
Coordinate and implement the evidence-based program entitled Strengthening Families (SF). Strengthening Families is a family skills training program found to significantly reduce problem behaviors, delinquency, and alcohol and drug abuse in children and to improve social competencies and school performance. Responsibilities include: facilitating programs in school and community settings, recruiting and supervising per diem staff, preparing materials, maintaining records and compiling datasheets.
Position requires a Bachelors degree in communications, public health, sociology, psychology or related field, Masters degree preferred, bi-Lingual preferred, well organized, with excellent oral and written communication skills. Must have strong facilitation/classroom management skills and computer literacy is essential. Salary: High $30s to Low $40s.
