Process Engineer at Springfield

Worldwide Engineering Company that builds process systems for chemical, food, and pharmaceutical companies, is seeking a Process Engineer. You will be responsible for all Process Engineer inquiries directed to the Engineered Systems Group. You will analyze customer requests to determine if viable technical and commercial solutions can be provided.

Responsibilities:

*Support qualifications of new inquiries, both technically and commercially

*Convert all relevant information into a structured proposal in CRM system

*Assist with coordinating field service requests

*Follow up proposal submission with customers to confirm expectations have been fulfilled, ensuring all required proposal changes are made.

*Maintain cost databases with information from suppliers in company ERP system

*Support preparation of P&IDs and GADs required for proposals or project execution

*Interface with vendors as needed for commercial and technical information. This will include traveling to off-site locations.

*Support and participate in the assembly, start-up and commissioning of equipment

Required:

*BS Chemical Engineering preferred or BS Mechanical Engineering Degree

*Minimum of 1 to 2 years Experience, preferably with batch processing in pharmaceutical or fine chemical process industry (food and beverage industry may be possible), involved in either general process engineering, plant design or plant production

*Recent Engineering Grad with strong related internships or coops ($40K to $45K)

*Customer focused, proactive mindset with excellent multi-tasking skills

*Able to read and interpret 2-D & 3D CAD drawings and technical manuals

*Good problem solver with the ability to identify information required

*Solid MSOffice skills and application software
