- Permanent position for a Product Sales Manager for engineered equipment for extrusion and powder coating processes.
- Develops new leads and increases the customer base throughout ones territory as well as grow the key account business through networking and contacts.
- Conducts sales and technical meetings/presentations in-house or at customer locations.
- Negotiates and closes sales with the assistance of the Business Unit Manager.
- Assists in developing marketing strategies. Maintain close awareness of competitors selling strategies by way of market research.
- Keep various business sector internal sales personnel abreast of the sales activities in the food extrusion business in order to maximize other auxiliary equipment possibilities with other business sectors.
- Prepares quotations and proposals as required.
- Prepare quotations independently for extruder equipment applications.
- Learn and use process, mechanical and electrical know-how as well as company resources.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and technical meetings to keep abreast in food extrusion technology sector. Maintain companys visibility in the market place. Maintain contact with personnel to exchange technical and commercial information and to stay informed of ongoing projects.
Job Requirements:
- BS in Engineering (chemical or mechanical) or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years experience in engineering, technology and/or sales of capital goods i.e. plastics machinery or similar.
- Travel anticipation approximately 50% of the time.
