JOB DESCRIPTION

Hiring Mode: Contract to Hire

Lead/Architect would need to have at least 5 years of experience in ATG. Should have worked on Form handlers, Droplets, Repository, Nucleus. Experience with Personalization and Scenarios. Should have hands on Cart, Catalog and Fulfillment. Should have worked on Checkout process and common cart retrieval from multiple channels. Should have worked on Active/Active configurations for ATG.

Skill1 - Java-J2EE (L3)
Should be able to design, develop, debug programs independently and mentor others. Good understanding of Java EE 5 platform, Annotations, JPA, Dependency injection, EJB 3.0, Web services, JSF 1.2, JSP2.1, Servlet 2.5, JSTL 1.2 and the simpler packaging rules. Aware of JMX, JTA. Usage of right Design Patterns, proper user, session managements, should also be conversant with developing application with various presentation and persistence models, Performance optimizations, Caching. Should be able to design using J2EE technologies.
Skill2 - Solution Architecture (L1)
1. Ability to take the functional and non-functional requirements and propose solution that will be able to meet the requirements. 2. Work with the design team to realize the architecture by providing suggestions on design options. 3. Review and validate the design decisions taken by the design teams. 4. Work with client architecture teams in - validate the non-functional requirements -discussing and providing inputs on architecture options 5. Present the architecture and design to necessary stake holders as required. 6. Working experience with at least one common SDLC methods (RUP, Velociq)

Skill4 - PCM Commerce Architecture (L1)
Certified in Commerce (ATG/WCS/Sterling Commerce/Escalate Retail) tool and Architect (Sun/TOGAF/Zachman) Certified, Requirements documentation and preparing the Technical Architect document, Modeling the Use Cases and sequence diagrams using RationalRose98, Poseidon tools Perform technical lead role. Have performed performance optimization of e-Commerce platforms. Should have been part of the deployment and rollout of e-Commerce platforms. Min of 2+years as architect in commerce projects. Should have been the lead architect for at least 1 commerce project.

Participate in conferences, blog, publish white papers, conduct PoV sessions for customers

ATG Commerce certified J2EE Designer with skills of integration with other applications like CRM etc. Knowledge of ATG from installation to component writing. J2EE skills and Applications Server knowledge. Should have additional knowledge of C++ and XML. Familiarity with user-centered analysis and evaluation techniques. Exposure and appreciation to software engineering methodologies. Designing B2B, B2C applications for ATG Portal/Commerce Server.J2EE #EJB, Web Services, JSP, and Servlets# and using Command Framework of ATG Dynamo Portal/Commerce server. EJB coding of local and remote interfaces, deployment descriptors, and implementing seminary leading Application Server,Struts Framework coding as per the framework #Config files, action classes, form beans, dyna beans, business delegates) . Application Server Architecture: Websphere/Weblogic. Knowledge of deployment and configuration issues on any one of the above Application Server .UML Design on Rational Rose or Together and Design Patterns
