CFG Health Network has an immediate career opportunity for a Child Counselor!!
This professional will work in theCARES Program located at St. Francis Hospital in Trenton, NJ.
This is a Full Time, 10 month position working Monday through Friday
POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides for the direct care and management of child patient population of a partial care treatment center. PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:

• Maintains a therapeutic and safe environment for all patients
• Facilitates regular therapeutic groups that address specific identified treatment issues and reinforces the patients treatment plan
• Provides observational feedback within the multidisciplinary team context
• Accurately records daily patient progress in the medical record as well as completing other required paperwork
• Rides along with the van driver to transport patients to and from the program
• Maintains certification in Handle with Care behavior management system

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• BA in Psychology, Social Work or related field or
• Associates Degree with 2 years Mental Health/Youth Services experience.
