- Provide daily support with Internal and External quality issues. Assist in the problem solving of the quality issues using various problem solving methods to insure issues are not repeated. This will help maintain or raise Customer Satisfaction.
- Provide written quality plans on new and existing product to help insure that Internal and External quality and financial goals are met.
- Review, analyze, and maintain various internal quality data to look for negative or positive trending and report back to the above stakeholders any findings. Review data from external suppliers and notify suppliers of trends affecting quality.
- Insure blueprint compliance by working with Product Development on prototype jobs for future endeavors. Compliance includes recording of data from externally supplied material to internal manufacturing data.
- Assist in the training of new and existing personnel to improve product throughput and yields.
- Explore new or improved test methods and equipment to consistently upgrade the accuracy of produced quality data to reduce redundant measurements, and provide ongoing enhancement of produced products.
Job Requirements:
- BS in Engineering, Mathematics / Statistics, or Science.
- Quality Engineer Certifications from accredited associations.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and ISO9000, AS9100 or ISO13485.
- Customer, Supplier, Internal, and Third Party Audits.
- Measurement Methods and Tools (CMM, laser, verniers, calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Experience in reading and interpreting Drawings / Blueprints.
- Statistics, Statistical Analysis, and Design of Experiments.
- Metrology, GR&R, and Calibration.
- Quality Plan Development, Sampling Plans, and Inspection.
- Familiarity with and use of Statistical Software - MiniTab preferred.
