Java Tech Lead at Morristown

Our client has a Full time position for a Java Tech Lead for their Morristown, NJ location.

Qualifications
  Prior architecture or product design experience
  Experience developing Internet products and technologies
  Experience with formal methodologies such as RUP, 7 years experience in the development of relational database software applications in support to financial or insurance services
  Experience in distributed systems and the use of Common Objects environments.
  Minimum 8 years experience with object oriented development tools and methodologies
  Minimum of 6 years hands-on technical experience with:
  Java/J2EE, EJB, JMS, Servlets, JSP, Hibernate, LDAP, XML/XSL, HTML, JavaScript, Struts
  Design patterns, UML
  Minimum 5 years Oracle 9i/later versions, MS SQL Server, SQL, Stored procedures, PL/SQL
  Familiarity with Unix and MQ Series
  Weblogic 6.1, 8.1, and more recent versions
  5+ years experience in a WEB-based environment 
  Excellent communication skills
  Proficient with project planning and use of MS Project

Experience with the following is considered a MUST:
  Strong expertise on Architecture and Design of IT solutions
  Experience with formal methodologies, such as RUP, and agile development approaches such as eXtreme Programming (XP), and iterative development
  Demonstrated ability to design solutions using object-oriented (OO) techniques, patterns and responsibility-driven design
  Representation of solutions using industry notations, such as the Unified Modeling Language (UML)
  Exposure to entity-relationship (ER) modeling, and understanding of object-to-relational mapping approaches
  Working knowledge of tools such as Rational Rose, ERwin, MS Office, and Visio
  Expertise in the knowledge on Java, J2EE, CGI, JSP, EJB, Struts as well as web technologies
  Application platforms (WebLogic, WebSphere, iPlanet (SunONE), etc.)
  Expertise on IP and security aspects
  Strong experience with MS Project and project planning methodologies
  Excellent problem solving, analytical, and conceptual thinking skills, combined with the ability to apply strong architecture design in a variety of situations
  Ability to clearly and concisely articulate issues, approaches and solutions
