Report Developer - Report Builder/SQL at Hoboken

Our client, located in Hoboken, New Jersey, seeks a Reporting Associate works as part of the Professional Services team in Hoboken, NJ.

Job Description:

Candidate is expected to develop reports using proprietary reporting software. Report development will include custom reports based on user defined requirements as well as standard reports that ship with our products. The candidate will primarily work on existing reports with the potential to build new reports. Responsibilities will also include resolving client support issues, gathering and documenting business requirements for reports, testing reports and applications, and client training.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a Bachelors degree in preferably Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics/ Finance; other majors considered


• Must be proficient with MS Excel and MS Word, MS Access a plus


• Must be familiar with relational databases, Structured Query Language (SQL) is a plus


• Experience with Report Builder computer programming is a plus


• Detail oriented analytic mindset


• Ability to work independently and with a team


• Ability to solve complex problems


• Ability to learn quickly


• Ability to interface with clients


• Familiarity with portfolio performance metrics and the private equity/alternative assets industry is a plus
