  • Verify appropriate authorization
  • Code invoice to proper account
  • Coordinate with person printing checks
  • Match invoice to check and check for accuracy
  • Mail checks
  • File invoices
  • Coordinate vendor setup with Director of Accounting or his/her designee
  • Prepare and distribute Accounts Payable reports
  • Review expense reports for authorization, code and submit for payment
  • Control, reconcile and replenish petty cash accounts
  • Respond to service office questions regarding accounts payable

  • Late List
  • Receive, match and distribute all claims and invoices to the appropriate biller
  • Receive, sort and distribute all billing documentation received from service offices according to established schedules
  • Review all items received from the Collections department for inclusion in the late list
  • Maintain the file of all unbilled claims that have been entered into the late list
  • Print and distribute weekly late list according to established schedule
  • Analyze late list to insure accuracy and identify trends
  • Communicate with service offices regarding late list problems and suggestions
  • Respond to service office questions regarding late list issues.
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting with 1 to 3 years related experience.
    Knowledge of a variety of office practices, operation of office equipment, such as computers, requiring some advanced skills knowledge.
    Knowledge of basic accounting required.
