Trust & Estate Paralegal
Objective:
Our client seeks aTrust & Estate Paralegal who can administer estates for planning, administration, tax preparation, and final dissolution. You will have client contact, financial institution experience, and basic Elder law background.
Responsibilities:
*Prepare documents for probate and qualifying Executor and Trustees
*Obtain estate asset information, prepare estate tax returns, State and Federal
*Assist clients with account re-titling and the transfer and distribution of assets
*Prepare Trust related documents; i.e. Trustee Resolutions, Designations, and Acceptances
*Coordinate with client and financial brokers with establishing and funding Trust accounts
*Prepare and file corporate Formation documents, dissolutions, and reinstatements
*Prepare related estate administration documents including waivers, disclaimers, and settlement agreements
*Assist with transfer and liquidation of assets
Required:
*Bachelors Degree with Paralegal Certificate preferred
*3 to 5 years Experience in Trust & Administration
*Solid MSOffice skills
*Experience with estate administration software, OneSource or Fast Tax
*Excellent communication skills verbal and written
