The Opportunity
CWFCs EPD Division is searching for an individual to fill the position of Accounts Payable, based in Phillipsburg, NJ. EPD, the Engineered Pump Division, and its legacy companies have been providing technology and products for naval and maritime application since 1847. Today, EPD is a major supplier of pumps for the U.S. Navys Nimitz Class aircraft carriers and Virginia Class submarines, as well as the Navys next generations of Ford Class aircraft carriers. EPD also supports the naval fleet with various innovative pumping solutions such as composite pumps and parts, and complete overhaul, upgrade and field service capabilities.
Essential Responsibilities
- Responsible for processing and paying supplier invoices, expense reports, check requisitions.
- Prepares, reviews, and inputs journal entries for month end close.
- Responsible for reviewing aging and resolving supplier payment issues with Supply Chain, etc.
- Responsible for monthly reconciliation on Accounts Payable Accounts
- Responsible for SOX self testing in area of responsibility
- Responsible for data pulls to support internal audit, external audit.
Qualifications/Requirements
- 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience
- Strong excel skills
- Oracle or similar ERP System is a plus
