Job Title: Sr. Test Engineer – Fluid Control Components – for Aerospace Applications

 

Location: Springfield, NJ

Compensation: $100K - $150K

This is a privately owned growing company in business for 60+ years. They have around 225 people at this facility, majority of the staff have been employed for 15+ years in a stable and long term career growth environment.

 

The Company produces complex flow control parts like solenoid valves, Pressure Vessels, Regulators using high precision machining for mission critical applications in the Aerospace, Nuclear power and Scientific/Industrial industries.

 

Group Info:

 

• Be part of engineering group consisting of 22 people including design engineers, CAD draftsman, Tech writer etc for the Aerospace division.

 

• This position reports to the Aerospace Engineering Manager

Applies engineering principles to design, modify, or develop test stands, equipment, and test processes for specific projects. Conduc

Job Requirements

Candidate Must Have:

 

• BS Degree in Engineering
• Min 5 years experience in test engineering operations for Fluid Control Component Systems like Valves, Regulators, Pressure Vessels etc
• Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Current knowledge of engineering and technical publications to help keep abreast of technological changes and developments in industry.
• Ability to perform in a fast paced, “hands-on" environment

Candidate-Nice to Have:

• Strong preference for Mechanical Engineering degree.
• Aerospace Industry background

• Advanced Degree or 10+ years of experience in test engineering
• Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing Certifications
• Experience working in 3rd party test labs doing fluid control component testing.
• Familiar with DO-160 and MIL-STD-810 regulations
