Sr. C++ Developer, Trading Systems at Jersey

Job Classification: Direct Hire Our client, a trading company in Jersey City, is looking to hire a senior level C++ Developer on a full time basis.This person will be part of a team developing a next generation routing platform. This person will be responsible for design, architecture, development, deployment, and support of trading applications using multithreaded C++ code in a Linux environment. They will be working with large scale real time transaction processing systems. The database environment is Sybase and Oracle and messaging platform is ActiveMQ.Candidates need to have at least 5-10 years of experience with C++ programming and object oriented design. Candidates need to have at least 1-2 years of Perl or Python experience. Candidates need to have experience with multithreading. Candidates need to have experience with real time transaction processing systems. Any knowledge of FIX protocol is a plus.The position is located in Jersey City and is easily commutable by public transportation.
