Job Description

As a Director of Business Architecture supporting our Medicare & Retirement business, you will be involved in the development, communication, and implementation of the segments business architecture and domain capability plans. You will partner with the business to define plans for people, process and technology that support and enhance strategic business capabilities.Responsibilities to include but not limited to:Leads the definition and business adoption of capabilities within assigned domainsFacilitates assessment of capability health with business functional leaders Defines the gap between current and future state capability delivery and work with business to identify program portfolioWorks with CDL to continuously review and plan program pipeline for assigned domainLeads cross-functional discussions focused on understanding segment demand and dependencies for programs in a particular themeReviews and clarifies (BVDs) Business Vision Documents for the domain and participates in Feasability sessions to determine initial program sizingParticipates in Requirements Solutions Analysis sessions for selected programs (initial session plus solution reviews)Models capability delivery and cross-domain touchpointsMaintains and publishes updated content for domain and/or assigned programIndependently supports transformational programs, complex capability or process related programsUnitedHealth Group is a company thats on the rise. Job Requirements

Requirements:Minimum of 8 years Business Architecture experienceSix Sigma Green belt or higher Demonstrated ability to facilitate in-person and virtual meetings with 5-50 participantsAbility to distill, disseminate and analyze data of all types and apply as applicableAbility to communicate complex concepts and make them consumable by multiple audiencesMetric acumen applied in multiple ways; from capability health coaching to business plans. Varies based on domain and assignmentPrevious Healthcare industry experienceBachelors degree or higher Assets:Six Sigma Black Belt Enterprise Architecture experienceExperienced in balanced scorecard developmentAbility to lead and influence without direct authoritySituational leadership experience UnitedHealth Group is working to create the health care system of tomorrow.
