Warehouse and Shipping Manager at Edison

The Shipping and Warehouse Manager position is responsible for inventory control of a high volume manufacturing facility.  Responsibilities include:

• Managing on-site and off-site warehouses to control inventory levels and costs
• Ordering and releasing raw materials and packaging supplies
• Working with Operations to optimize production by managing line schedules
• Managing Clerks and Drivers to evaluate and develop their skills and maximize their productivity 
• Managing the shipping and employee work schedules
• Scheduling the trucking vendors to meet shipping demands
• Scheduling incoming product and customer returns
• Forecasting monthly warehouse expenses
• Preparing annual budget for warehousing costs
• Fostering a positive safety environment
• Managing maintenance schedules for forklifts and related shipping equipment
