LTE Test Engineer - Wireless Networks at Springfield

• Contract position for an LTE Test Engineer for wireless networks.
• Testing and verifying the system requirements associated with new LTE capabilities being deployed in the MS-GW used by major wireless network operators in their small cells networks.
• Testing includes validating the interfaces and links between the MS-GW and the RAN/(H)eNB and between the MS-GW and the LTE ePC core network.
• In addition, testing includes running call processing scenarios and OAM functions to exercise various configurations and capabilities.
• The engineer will be tasked to learn the capabilities within each new release, and develop and execute test plans to meet the ambitious LTE technology development and commercialization commitments of our customers.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline; Masters Degree preferred
• At least 2 years experience with LTE wireless technology and system architecture.
• Familiarity with IP gateways, data networking, or some aspect of wireless base stations, networks, or user equipment.
• Knowledge of IP network architecture and experience troubleshooting routing issuesAn understanding of wireless system architecture and products, with experience in software/system development or testing of complex wireless systems.
• Experience with network and packet analyzers, air interface analyzers, RF channel emulators, noise generators or some sort of similar telecommunications test equipment.
