Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years Financial Services or equivalent industry experience
Minimum of 3 - 4 years Business Analysis or equivalent experience
Certified Business Analysis Professional Certification or equivalent a plus
PMP Certification a plus
Understanding of data modeling, data analysis, and BI concepts & tools
Understanding of Information Management and Big Data concepts and practices
Experience mentoring or managing other BAs
Ability to demonstrate being a thought leader within the BA community
Bachelor degree required. Business or related field preferred. MBA is a plus
Responsibilities:
Estimate s time required to deliver project artifacts and reports progress toward delivery goals throughout the project
Leads key stakeholder analysis process
Maintains EDAG data-specific artifacts, including but not limited to the data-specific requirements template and the various EDAG engagement models
Interacts with project stakeholders to elicit and document project requirements by translating business needs into testable, developer-ready requirements
Produces professional quality project artifacts including but not limited to business requirement documents, requirement plans, models (e.g. data, event, context and process), traceability matrices, use cases, issue logs and other documents as needed.
Ensures that system requirements meet business needs and that the business is able to fully integrate and implement new systems or system features
Partners with project stakeholders to manage requirement change requests throughout
Respectfully challenges requirement additions that lead to scope creep
Identifies and communicates risks as well as possible solutions
Assists the business in determining if and how new systems or system enhancements may improve process flow and business function
Serves as a critical resource and liaison between subject matter experts and technologists throughout the project lifecycle
Works with the business to recommend appropriate training, communication and scheduling as systems are deployed
Participates in the Quality Inspection process for all requirements
Secures Business Requirement Document approvals from project stakeholders
Assigned complex projects which frequently include program assignments requiring advanced coordination of multiple project deliverables
Performs Quality Inspections of other BAs project artifacts
Demonstrates proactive Business Partner Engagement
Provides practical and in-depth analysis of systems, processes and policies resulting from obtaining a mastery of numerous areas
Critiques processes and standards while routinely making material contributions to improvements thereof
Mentors teammates and assists with training initiatives
Demonstrates ability to work Programs
Other tasks to be determined by management and project needs
