Job Description
This position will provide support to all Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM/Gearmotor) customers. Customer support Specialist will report directly to the Senior Operations Manager.
Responsibilities:
The individual will answer technical questions about part numbers, catalog data, order status, and similar requests for additional information. The individual will communicate via phone, email, fax, and possibly via an online support module. The Customer Support Specialist will also be required to assist in sales order/purchase order entry in SAP. The individual will work directly with other Customer Support Specialists, Business Development Leaders, and Outside Independent Manufacturers Representatives. As this individual becomes more knowledgeable, he/she will become responsible for drafting or updating internal operating procedures.
Job Requirements
- Two plus years in a customer support or sales position
- Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Power Point, Access)
- Experience with writing procedures
- High school degree or equivalent required
