CNC LATHE PROGRAM/SET-UP at Fairfield

Shop with 75 CNCs offers challenging and diverse and interesting work

Lathe department has 20 CNC Lathes including Swiss Screw machines to VTLs

We have an immediate opening for a CNC Lathe Programmer Operator with Live tooling and Y axis experience. 

* 5 Years CNC Programming minimum
* Set-up / Program - Program with Cam software

*Full Time Position
* Must be proficient with Inspection instruments and attention to detail - Close tolerances
*  High Precision Production machining of Complex parts including  castings and forgings

* Fast Paced environment

* Observe and contribute during machine set-ups and optimize processes
* Review customer requirements and incorporate within processes
* Recommend tool purchases and maintain current tools
* Assist and participate in continuous improvements 
* Must excel at working in a team environment
* Continuously work with a sense of urgency
* Willingness to Learn and apply Skills already known to help other team members

Job Requirements

Minimum 5 Years CNC Programming experience

Manual Lathe background preferred

Experience with Swiss Screw machines a PLUS

Experience with Dual Turret machines a PLUS
