The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing best-in-class HR services to employees and managers of L-3 Communication Systems-East.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• FMLA & NJFLA Administration
  
• Administration and maintenance of Affirmative Action Plan
  
• Tracking of organization training programs
  
• Full life-cycle recruitment for various positions
  
• Presentation of New hire orientation
  
• Interpret and ensure compliance with law, rules, policy, regulation or business practices.
  
• Other Human Resources duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Bachelors Degree
  
• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a Human Resources Department for an employer with at least 100 employees
  
• Experience administering FMLA and NJFLA
  
• Effective written and oral communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely share information andideas with a wide range of audiences
  
• Maintains confidential information exercising discretion and judgment
  
• Experience in facilitating presentations, workshops and discussions
  
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues as part of a team as well as the ability to work independently
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  
• The ability to effectively organize and present data
  
• Working knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Access & Excel) and Applicant Tracking Systems
  
• Knowledge of business principles applicable to processes or problem solving
  
• Ability to effectively interact with all levels within organization and external customers/ potential employees
  
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to deadlines
  
• Ability to obtain a government issued security clearance
  
• U.S. Citizenship required
  

This position may be filled at a higher grade based on the successful applicants skills, education and experience.
